Every year, Design in Public presents the Seattle Design Festival: the largest interdisciplinary design event in the Puget Sound region, bringing together design experts; nonprofit, business, and city leaders; and the public to engage in a dialog about the role of design in enhancing the quality of urban life.

The Festival is presented by Design in Public and AIA Seattle, in collaboration with dozens of nonprofit partners.  Each year it offers more than 40 events, including tours, films, speakers, interactive exhibits, installations, competitions, games, workshops, family programs, and more—all aimed at a public audience.

The 2013 Festival, September 13 through 22, will address the theme Design in Health. Read more.
